- Every December, Deerbrook has a special Sunday evening where the streets are lined with glowing candlelight. It’s a festive holiday tradition that started more than 30 years ago. Residents set out the white bags with tealights nestled in sand, then light the candles at dusk. After dark, people walk or drive slowly through Deerbrook to enjoy the magical glow.
